Marcia Muth). Type up the information in a document formatted
using
proper
MLA guidelines.
Students may work together, but each student must submit

own assignment, in his or her own words.
The Questions:
Where can you find a Web site or pamphlet mapping
locations
of
library
holdings, describing library resources, and explaining
services? How
does
your library use signs as guides?
Where is the reference desk, and what hours is it open?
How do you access the library's catalog? Can you search it
or
other
library databases from your home computer or the campus
network?
Where are the periodicals kept, and how are they arranged?
What kinds of indexes or computerized databases are
available,
and how
can you access them?
Can you use interlibrary loan or a consolidated catalog to
order material
the library doesn't have?
How long is the check-out period for books? How do you
request
items,
renew them, or use other circulation services?
